This film really made Saysha question her life choices and almost pushed Melanie to the brink of insanity. WHOA LIKE TOTALLY RADICAL!!! We have SUCH a special ep for you all on this Mother's Day weekend y'all! As part of 80's month, we decided to watch an old family favorite, Valley Girl, from 1983 with OUR MOM!!! We mostly overwhelm her with questions about the 80's (spoiler: she cannot remember too much) and also dive deep into this sleeper cult film, discussing fashion(of course), interior design, method acting, malls, body hair, May-December subplots, class consciousness(Saysha cannot help it), family travel, and alternate timelines where our Mom has two boyfriends! We got REAL weird with it!!!!
