  • The Paranormal Fringe: Haunted Ohio
his Methodist church was founded in 1895 and is in Bryan, Ohio. But the only Sunday services are the tableside kind and will likely involve beer. You see, this historic structure is now home to Father John’s Microbrewery, and it is one of the most unique restaurants I have ever been to.
The sanctuary is unchanged with its giant organ pipes and pews, but it is now used for just weddings and special events. There are more pews in the basement, which is where the restaurant and bar are located, and those pews surround tables.
The decor is a mix of all religions and has a bit of a haunted, eerie feel. There is a Crypt Room with a suspended, floating cross table and a glass-covered tomb complete with coffin underneath it. The garden out back is really special with giant circular saw blades as tables, carved log barstools, more coffins, a Tibetan shrine and even a tiny child’s gravestone embedded in the garden’s cobblestone brick wall. The gravestone was uncovered during the excavation of the garden, but don’t worry, it was not from a real grave and there were no remains unearthed.
That all may seem too creepy to you, but trust me, this place is not like some sideshow haunted house. It is an upscale place and its motto, "Heavenly, Devilish," fits it to a tee.

  • Within The Chaos Special Guest Graham Phillips
    Graham Phillips
has been one of Britain’s bestselling non-fiction authors for over twenty years. In the 1980s, after working as a radio journalist and broadcaster for the BBC and editing a popular monthly magazine, Graham turned his talents to investigating unsolved historical mysteries. He has since written twelve books which are in print around the world and have been published in many different languages.
Graham Phillips has never been afraid of controversy. In 1995 he made headlines around the world and created a storm in the Vatican that even involved the Pope himself, when he discovered a lost artifact that may have been the original Holy Grail. His first solo book, The Search for the Grail, told the fascinating story of this modern-day Grail quest.
In the late 90s Graham turned his attention to biblical mysteries. In 1998 his international bestseller, Act of God, revealed startling new evidence that the plagues of the Exodus and the parting of the Red Sea were real historical events - the result of the largest volcanic eruption in the history of civilization. In 2000 The Marian Conspiracy told of Graham’s search for the secret tomb of the Virgin Mary and investigated a Church cover-up at the very highest level. His book, The Moses Legacy, examines the work of eminent archaeologists and biblical scholars, and pieces together remarkable evidence to show that the Old Testament is far closer to the truth than many historians believe.
By collating evidence from many different subject areas, such as archaeology, history and Egyptology, he is able to gain an overall perspective that those tied to a particular discipline are often prevented from doing. More often than not, he has simply applied himself to a mystery that academics have been unwilling, or even afraid to touch.
