  • Conversation with Trent - "Perseverance"
Walking in and through your purpose takes courage and strength. When you catch a twenty second glimpse of your vision, grab hold to it like your life will end tomorrow.
God thought enough of me and allowed me to see my destiny as my lungs collapsed and I struggled to catch my breath. The year was 2011, while at a book signing in Altanta for my first published book.
Under normal circumstances, I should have died that day. As I desperately tried to lift what seemed like a five hundred pound weight off of my chest. But, I was fortunate to meet and see my destiny without walking right into it.

  • Let Your Voice Be Heard Sexual Assault Awareness Event with Kenyetta York
Kenni is a 31-year old author, sexual assault awareness advocate, and entrepreneur. Her literary works include Ask No Questions (murder mystery), A Girl's Perspective (poetry), Merrilittle: Murder in a Small Town (young adult murder mystery, 1st in a series), Striving for Happily Ever After (marriage self-help), The Girls (Urban Fiction), My Dad is an Army Man (children's book) and the Karma series (Contemporary Women's Fiction). Passionate about her chosen field, Kenni created her own company in 2012, Kenni Enterprises LLC, which specializes in teaching creative writing classes for youth and adults throughout the metro Atlanta area. The company also facilitates workshops and seminars, provides one on one tutorial sessions to help middle school children strengthen their writing skills in preparation for scholastic, writing based tests in addition to offering copy editing services for various online magazines, ghostwriting services, and author consultations. Kenni and her company are dedicated to active community involvement. Annually, Kenni hosts a youth book drive to promote summer reading amongst school aged children. Over time, this initiative has worked to provide several county recreation centers, daycares, children's hospitals, and children shelters with reading and educational materials for their youth. Additionally, Kenni organizes and hosts an annual benefit event during National Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April entitled Let Your Voice Be Heard. As a sexual assault survivor, Kenni feels it is important to get the word out about this growing epidemic in order to encourage men and women to raise their voices against this common and life-impacting crime. Not only does the benefit help to raise awareness, but the variety show format affords up and coming artists (singers, authors, comedians, poets) a platform to showcase their talents and the event benefits Day League  in Decatur, Georgia.

  • YRN PRESENTS WOULD CAMERAS MATTER ON POLICE(POLICY) OFFICERS(ENFORCERS) 24/7?
Our next topic is one of the most important topics of the year. Growing up Some of us played Cops and Robbers. Inspiring to become a Police Officer is a dream for many kids still today. Anthony, personally went to College for Criminal Justice and passed the intial screening to become a Hazel Crest Police Officer. After really considering what all is involved when obtaining a career of an Police Officer Anthony decided to decline the Police Academy.
Being a Police Officer Today is probably the most difficult Career in our Current Society. With Smartphones, Social media and the increase technology the question keeps coming up about all Police Officers being required to have Cameras 24/7 to monitor their activities because of the many recent events involving Police Officers and what many consider unlawful acts.
Trent and myself need everyone to help us make this show one of the best of the year. Not for numbers or listeners but for resources and solutions to this ongoing problem. Tune in this Saturday at 11amCST on the "Your Energy Your World" Radio Show by calling 347-326-9139 broadcasting live from Flame Studios in Association with Vibration Radio, Taylor Kennedie Media and Your Radio Networks.

The Beautiful Butterfly Show Welcomes Author Leah Rogers!!
Leah was raised in a hostile environment where her mother was at the time a heavy drug user and regularly physically abused by men in front of her children.  After being awarded to the state, she found herself running away on numerous occasions.  Leah began stripping to maintain a living for her daughter. It was there that she'd met her boyfriend that monthes later exposed himself as a pimp.
Leah worked as a prostitute and "Bottom girl" around the United States, mainly California, Scottsdale, Arizona, Washington, D.C and Texas for almost Three years, while being beaten brutally by her pimp even after she became pregnant with his son.
On May 13th, 2011 Leah was arrested with her pimp, when her pimp was discovered recruiting two under age girls, who were Undercover FBI Agents.  After being tried as a suspect and signing a plea for seven years, Leah was given a second chance to prove her innocent about her involvement with her pimp.
After turning her life around for the better, on March 4th, 2015 she shared her story with CBS News titled "A Better Arizona" broadcasted locally on television.  After this airing, Leah began to get anxious about saving other women who were still in the game and created a video for her Facebook channel.  Leah is now known around the world for her video traveling through social media at just under one million views.

  • Author Spotlight with Author of Til Death Do Us Part Nicole Milner
The Beautiful Butterfly Show Welcomes Author of " Til Death Do Us Part" Nicole Milner.
Nicole Milner Milner is a native of Richmond, Virginia and is a proud graduate of Hampton University and published her first book,Til Death Do Us Part, in 2012. She says it's actually funny hearing her name and the word “author” in the same sentence and context. She may have written two or three poems when she was a love struck teenager and a few research papers for school, but that’s about it. Milner never had any desire to be a writer or to produce a play for that matter. By profession she’s human resources, not writer, not producer. Well, at least not until now!
Publishing her first book and now anticipating the play based on the book has been both an exciting and humbling experience. Some reader comments have included “I wanted to tell you great book. It was very inspirational and I have encouraged others to read it. You are truly a blessing and you have touched my heart;" “I cried when I read your book because it felt like you were telling my story;” and “Your book has the makings of a movie. Although Milner’s books are fiction, she crafts her story lines based on some actual events which makes the story more relatable to the reader.
