  • Author Spotlight with "Author Titus Brown"
Titus Broom went from being a Drug dealer, to being in a wheelchair, to prison, to a college graduate, to an inspirational & motivational speaker to now being the Author of his first book The Things God Whispered To Me.  Titus is also an intervention specialist that works daily with improving the lives of youth that are incarcerated as well as youth and families that need to be motivated to establish and reach their goals.
Titus Broom shares 23 short stories that use real life situations that an individual can find themselves in, from losing a loved one, feeling hopeless, or just simply issues in life to motivate the reader to look for the wisdom in each moment instead of being caught up in obstacle or life storm.
Titus seems to have taken his pencil like a painters brush and painted each story from his mind as God whispered it to him on each page. But Titus shares if the pencil was a brush it would be dipped in the blood he left on a Charlotte street after being shot in 1995 and losing his ability to walk. Each story or whisper as he calls it is tied directly to something he has seen personally, experienced, or has been divinely inspired to write because of his life.

  • Introducing: Author Michelle Bradshaw
Michelle Bradshaw, a Native New Yorker born and raised in the Bronx by her mother and stepfather. Middle child of three girls, who often felt unheard, so she began writing Poetry at age 13 as a result of her experiences.
By the age of 19 her poems took on a lyrical form and she found another outlet in songwriting. She’s always felt awkward in crowds and uncomfortable in her own skin, causing her to become a loner. She spent many years keeping people at a distance, and slowly drifting into seclusion that would soon lead to depression. She’s had her share of emotional battles and now she has emerged on the other side. She has a voice and so much to share about her life's experiences.
She wrote Who I Am for self-healing. It is a reflection of her experiences. She was ready to share her most intimate feelings; to connect with anyone who could relate to them.  She has words to relate to the young girl raised without her dad, the teenager trying to find her way and anyone who has loved, hurt or been through emotional trauma.
Join us this Sunday as we "Showcase" Michelle Bradshaw
