Dr. Clinton Rubin is a SUNY distinguished professor of biomedical engineering and director of the Center for Biotechnology at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York. Dr. Rubin's research is targeted toward bones and how to use mechanical stimuli to establish non-drug treatment strategies for osteoporosis and diabetes. Dr. Rubin holds 30 patents in the areas of wound repairs, stem cell regeneration, and treatment of metabolic disease. He founded EXOGEN, Juvent, and Marodyne Medical, which uses physical signals to regulate biological processes. He has published over 300 articles.
