In class we discuss how a pastor should be involved in community. This notion rubbed me the wrong way at first, but he does have a point. Also, being ready to give a defense to people who create their own god & mask it as Christianity

In week 1 of seminary we talk about preconceived notions that we apply over the text. Understanding the “actual” context of the times less to a better understanding & accurate view of text. Historical Theology
