This week on Miami Vice: Vice is put in charge of a key witness in a trial against a drug kingpin named Quintero. The FBI thinks the witness will be safer with Vice, and Vice has their hands full when he tries to sneak out to hit the clubs. Crockett and Keith, the witness, butt heads but, the generation gap narrows as they get to know each other better. This episode might be dated in my 2024 (RIP Expos) but, some things, like bumping heads with your elders, never change.

This week on Miami Vice: Vice minus Crockett (with a very clearly ADR'd-in excuse of testifying elsewhere) is trying to get in with Borrasca, who is part of a splinter cell group that uses drug money to fight communism in the made up country of Puerto Rubio. As Tubbs and Switek get closer, a very shadowy and overly-tanned figure warns them to back off and he goes way back with Castillo. Reese, may or may not be sanctioned by the government and Castillo is doing his best to see what side of the law he is while Vice tries to get closer to Borrasca through his connections: a retired detective (OOF RIP), a gorgeous nightclub owner and associated goons. Will Vice be able to get Borrasca to trial for his crimes without interference?

Can this man catch a break? The answer is no.

And also a large cat named Morris. The flashbacks continue as Burnett struggles and is blown up again.....!!!! This guy can't catch a break! Let's see what happens as Burnett's power wanes and Crockett's memories continue to flood back.

He's working for a new bigwig, Oscar Carrera, and is helping him with logistical issues until his son, Miguel and his wife, Celeste make things way more complicated. Tubbs goes under as Cooper to try and see if he can jog his memory as Carrera fights with his son and his rival, El Gato - the brother of the recently departed Manolo from Mirror Image. Everything is going to Burnett's plan until he and Cooper meet up and then boom - to be continued!

This week on Miami Vice: Sonny goes back undercover to get closer to two bigwigs: Manolo and Gutierrez - against Tubb's wishes and ends up in an explosion. He survives (not to Vice's knowledge) but, has amnesia and now believes that he is his alter ego, Sonny Burnett. As he gets deeper into this new world, Tubbs is digging deeper into Manolo and Gutierrez (Antonio Fargas!) to figure out what really happened on that boat with help from the Ft. Lauderdale precinct. The same precinct that's trying to track down an internal leak to Gutierrez! What a season finale. Did I mentioned Julia Roberts?

This week on Miami Vice: Evil is the theme of this week as Vice hears about home invasions gone wrong when a 15-year old girl is killed, and the style matches that of Frank Hackman... remember him? From "Forgive Us Our Debts"? He shot and killed Crockett's former partner, was on death row until Crockett helped get him out, believing he was innocent. Nope! And now Crockett is about to cross paths with Hackman again right as Caitlin comes home from tour with a secret in tow.

Gina and Mosca get chatting at a party, and she gets closer to him to help get more info pertaining to his businesses to help Vice and the Feds, who are still trying to nail him. Crockett appears concern (or is it jealousy? Bro, go focus on your wife!) as she gets deeper undercover with Mosca, who has taken a shine to her. But, Gina gets closer, and like Frank Stallone in this episode, a little too close to fire.
