I over heard a female comedian say she was trying to be pretty because she thought that made her funnier. A man replied, “Pretty comedians aren’t funny”.

I got the best time talking to my favorite comedian Kanisha Buss, fresh off her third installment of Kev On Stage’s Keep Your Distance Comedy show. Kanisha is a raw comedian and she has no problem sharing her story. Her transparency is refreshing and rare. We talk about the balance of working and being a mom to understanding we can’t let social media fool you.

I did it! First time on stage and it wasn’t a play. I took what I know and went for it. If you know me , you know I love comedy, it’s another form of therapy! It get’s you laughing and as they say you have to laugh to keep from crying. To all the hard working comedians I know, y’all are dope!!
