Topic: Ending Triumphantly Is Most Important. Be it A Family Life, Job, Studies.. Many Start Off Well, But In The End They Falter.

He that endures till the end shall be saved. Mt. 24:14.

One Who Embraces Or Clings To The Lord Amidst Adverse Circumstances Is Blessed! And the One who endures till the end is a praiseworthy Christian.

We have seen yesterday how prophet Habakkuk questioned God. He starts off complaining like all of us, "How long shall I cry, and you will not hear?... And we may also observe that on these later two occassions the Lord God answered him instantly.

A thought to meditate why God answered Habakkuk instantly this time??

In my view, the Lord observed primarily that the complain, rather the nature of complaint or questioning was, that he was not seeking anything for himself, not for his family, but he was praying the most unselfish prayer pertaining to the nation of Judah. His prayers of complain were serious of nature, but most unselfish, passionate and zealous thereby touched the very heart of God to respond instantly. Can you and I do such unselfish and passionate prayers?

More and more precious time he spent with the Lord God Almighty in the conversation, more he could understand the matchless wisdom of God, His goodness, His infinite power and His plans he understood, that they are divine and perfect without any flaws.

Though he began by questioning God, he concludes his book and his life with a psalm of beautiful Praise acknowledging the Lord's divine power, His wisdom and His redemptive plan.

Let us read together and praise God. Habakkuk. 03: 17 to 19. "Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruits be on the vines; though the labour of the olives may fail, And the fields yield no food; though the flick be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls, Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation." Amen!

The very name habaq means "One Who Embraces" or "Clings." So, at the end of the book, this name becomes appropriate because Habakkuk chooses to cling firmly to God regardless of what happens. He understood the divine power of God and declares saying, "the just shall live by his or her faith."

Topic : Love And Compassion! Showing Compassion Is The Greater Virtue Than Doing The Works Of The Lord God Blesses Such People.

We desire to heal the sick and deliver the oppressed, but unlike Jesus, we never desire to have unconditional love and compassion of Jesus Christ.

Luke 05:12 & 13. And it happened when Jesus was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and He fell on His face and implored Him saying, "Lord if you are willing, you can make me clean." Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him saying "I am willing; be thou cleansed." Immediately the leprosy left Him.

The prayer of this leper shows beautiful faith. The leper had no doubt whatever of Christ's ability to heal him. The only question in his mind was whether He would be willing to do it. There is no doubt that the Lord would love to heal him. If we see the whole of Bible not a single instance we can see where people who came to Jesus went back without being healed or restored.

Even so, Jesus could do to us if we in faith and humility go to Him.

Jesus could have healed the leper with a word.

He had a reason to touch the leper. Nobody desires to touch a leper. Instead they keep them at a distance. But Jesus unlike us, put out His compassionate hand and touched him showing to the world - that His love is divine and sacred which can melt any hardened heart. The healing has been done to bless the person and to glorify God....

Topic : A Destiny! God Has Already Planned A Destiny For His Children Who Do His Will. If So, What Is This Will Of God In Each One Of Our Lives?.....

We may go through some shipwreck, hard and tough times, and sickness in our lives. But yet, if, if we hold on to the fort and do the will of God, He will make the crooked paths straight. If we are trustworthy , He will bring streams in the desert and make road in the wilderness. Amen!

He will bring life into your weak n fainted body. He will heal your spiritual life and bring back life and restoration.

All these happens provided we do the will of God!

How do we know the will of God? We always have the habit of taking but seldom giving is not that easy for us. We withhold, that's why we are never blessed fully, because we give leftovers to anyone who are in need and feel satisfied and great. We also give leftovers to the Lord. And so we reap sparingly.

Let us turn to what is the will of God is based on His Word!

It demands us not to complain, not to murmur but to GIVE.

Let us turn to Psalm 92 1 & 2.

It Is Good To Give Thanks To The Lord, And To Sing Praises To His Name.. And to declare His lovingkindness in the morning.

It's wonderful to give thanks to the Lord. It's blessed to give thanks to the Lord..

Well, you may say, How can I give thanks when nothing good is happening in my life for so many years?

If there is God's will and good purpose, why am I not getting promotion, why am I not getting married? Why am I sick and weak?! why am I not getting through interviews??

If it's God's will why am I suffering like this? These questions crop up to everyone at some stage of life or even now. Is it not?

But, we are not asked to give or rather make a complaining noise, we are not asked to give a murmuring noise or a grumbling noise. But to give thanks to the Lord. For that is the will of God.

I Thes 5 18 In everythin give thanks.. For this is the will of God... which means, at all times give thanks, and at all circumstances give thanks. Not when everything is fine. Everyone can give thanks when everything is well and good. But it takes courage and needed strength and maturity to give thanks to the Lord at all times and at all circumstances......

Topic : What We Do Now We Will Reap In The Future. Be It Good, Bad Or Ugly.

It's Not Satan But Often Times We Destroy Ourselves With Our Actions And Words.

"Who killed Samson"

Is it Delilah or the Philistines?" None of them is correct.

If No, then who killed him??

It's an eye opener to see that often times it's not the devil but our own actions and our own words to which we become slaves destroy us.

Even if there were 10,000 Philistines soldiers, they couldn't have defeated Samson. Do you know why?

Samson's strength was not of this world; it was divine. It was supernatural. It's been a gift from the Almighty God..

As long as no one can defeat GOD, no army could have defeated Samson no matter how strong or how many were there.

The answer is Samson himself.

Yes, Samson killed himself. A man is his greatest enemy.

What an enemy cannot do to a man, he can do to himself.

Samson killed himself. He delivered himself to the lap of Delilah and used his own mouth to tell the secret of his power.

His life promised so much, but delivered so little.

The Bible says in Proverbs chapter 19 verse 3

"The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the LORD."

Topic : Trials, Tribulations, Troubles, Sickness And Adversities Of This World! We All Go Through These At One Point Of Time Or Other. But, Yet, If We Are Truly God's Children, We Are Overcomers And Conquerors. Amen!

These things are no respecter of persons. It comes to poor, the rich, wealthy, weak as well as strong people.

Are you feeling lonely because of such things happening? Do you feel rejected and unwanted? Is failure in life and not settling down causing you to become lonely, despondent and dejected? Is sudden sickness or loss of someone dear taking further toll on your health? Do you feel being subjected to constant abuse and rude behaviour by someone?

Is these trials, troubles, tribulations dog you day in and day out without any peace and rest?

Let us not be disheartened nor disillusioned. For we have only one person in this world. He loves us not just in good times alone but loves us at all times. When everyone leaves you, He will not leave you and me. He is a true and only one friend who truly understands us like no one else.

He is the only friend who will never disappoint you and me even when everyone leaves. He is Jesus Christ. He has prepared a place for us, a mansion. If, if we have Jesus as our friend and Saviour, it's ours.

People in this world may forsake us depending on our situations and low times, but our true friend will never leave nor forsake us. We can never forget His divine pure love on the cross. His love covered all our sins, failures and shortcomings.

All those of us who truly received Him as our saviour and friend, He has already prepared mansions for all His friends who embraced Him.

Here is the good news from God's divine Word.. for today.

The Word of God in John 16 : 33 doesn't just say "You may have peace," but Jesus says,"In Me you may have peace." Lord Himself says further in this verse, "In this world you will have tribulation." But it doesn't stop there. It says, "Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

When we have truly have Him as our Saviour n friend, though we might go through these trials, tribulation and sickness, but yet, we rejoice, we praise God in supernatural, because we have peace and rest amidst all these.

Ty lord for thine divine Word. Amidst all these, because you have overcome this world and Satan, we too can experience true peace and rest amidst these adversities of life.

Help us lord never to slip out of your hand into this sinful world till we finish the journey of life or your rapture whichever is early....

Faith can remove mountains. Restoration and healing depends upon our Faith. Often times it is We Who Limit The Power Of God And Give Up..

Matt. 08: 05 to 07. centurion comes to Jesus and said "Lord my servant is paralysed & dreadfully tormented."

And Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him." And centurion answered and said "Lord, I am not worthy that you should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed."

The Lord said to the centurion, "Go your way, as you have believed, so let it be done for you." The same moment - split of a second his servant was healed.

Restoration depends upon our faith.....

Can We Have Peace And Rest In A Troubled Stress - Filled World?

Prov. 3: 5 & 6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

More people (than we know) worldwide have a mental illness - such as depression, anxiety, fear, eating disorders, and other addictive behaviors. It remains one of the most challenging situations to handle.

The World Health Organization says that these are the leading cause of disability globally. Some common signs of mental or emotional illnesses include:

•Constant feeling of sadness.

•Confused thinking or reduced ability to concentrate.

•Unwarranted fears, worries, or extreme feelings of guilt.

•Life-threatening mood changes of highs and lows.

•Withdrawal from friends and social activities......

Why do people have a mental illness? Medical research does not know precisely what causes mental illness.....

I can share confidently based on my Bible, we panic less, we fret less, we fear less when our hope in Christ is high.

Lesser the hope and faith in the Sovereignty of the Omnipotence of the Lord Almighty, higher is panic level.

Like to share that there is hope, and that life has excellent opportunities for you and me irrespective of what we go through.

We can identify and fix our fears, worries, anxieties, depressions, and other mental and emotional challenges we may have right now, which can be dealt confidently through God’s word....

I want to declare in the resurrected power of Christ to take yours and all of our discouragements, anxieties, fears, and disappointments to God in prayer and lean on His divine Word, experience His peace, healing and restoration of what all we lost.

Our Focus On Life! If We Keep Looking And Focusing On Unholy Works And Always Harbouring Evil, Filthy And Unclean Thoughts, Can We Ever Expect Godly Dreams And Visions Or Fearful And Evil Dreams?

They looked unto Him, and were lightened; and their faces were not ashamed. -

Ps. 34: 4.

There is a familiar saying, "What you think, you become."....

Samson, the judge of Israel looked at attractive Delilah and destroyed himself and was unable to deliver Israelites as a judge.

Judah looked at wealth and money bag, and lost purpose in life and commited suicide.

David looked at Bathsheba and part of his generation was cursed.

Simon Peter started looking at the boisterous waves instead of looking to Christ and was sinking.

A True story! There was a young enthusiastic god fearing boy who was going to Sunday School regularly. He enjoyed going to Sunday school. He was actively involved. Loved by everyone.

One day on his request, parents allow him to go to one of his college friend's house for a birthday celebration. There, when he went, all his friends were watching immoral movies. He sat with them. They sang birthday song and cut the cake. Then, they started watching every evil and worldly entertainment through the social media and videos all day.

Suddenly this boy changed his priorities. And started watching all these in his home too. And withing few weeks he was obsessed with all these things. He was behaving differently with parents. Joy was missing. Rank in the class slipped very badly. Enthusiasm to go to Sunday school ebbed out. Do you get godly dreams and visions when life is filled with such unholy things?

In the next few weeks he started dreaming and kept on shouting in the nights with fear. He was possessed with evil and demonic forces. He became a rebellion at home. He became a failure.

One wrong look towards wicked friends has destroyed his life.

Another real life story which I read recently startled me. It happened in early 1980s. A certain young woman has no brothers nor sisters. Mother died. Her only father was 'all in all' for her. One day she went and saw a movie and came home. Middle of the night she had a dream. And she awoke up and took out a knife and stabbed her only father several times and murdered him.

Police officers on enquiring her as why she did like that. She frankly admitted that she was not aware of what she has done. She regretted and wept bitterly.

The devil makes easy entry into hearts where there is no light. He would first tempt you to associate with wicked friends and the world which finally leads to destruction.

Word of God says, when we look unto the Lord, means when our eyes are focused on the Lord, we will never be ashamed nor put to shame by our acts. And our countenance will be always radiant and bright.

Daniel looked at God and was delivered from lion's trap laid by his enemies.

Here we see David looked at Sovereign God and His power, and destroyed Goliath single-handedly.

Hannah looked at God and produced one of the greatest prophets in Israel, Samuel.
