Topic: Deceptions, Twists And Outright Lies Define The Words Of Fools. The Name Of The Wicked Will Rot. Prov. 10:07.

He Who Hates Correction Is Stupid. Prov. 12:01.

Ps. 37: 37, 38. Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; for the future of that man is peace. But the transgressors shall be destroyed.

Don't meddle with a fool; he will disturb your peace. Do not correct or advise a scoffer, lest he will hate you. He who rebukes a wicked man only harms himself. Do not throw jewels or diamonds to the pigs, for they do not know its value. But give it to the wiseman; for he shall treasure it and will be grateful.

He who corrects a scoffer gets shame for himself. "Only a fool fools with sin."

Rebuke a wise man, and he will love you. Give instruction to the wise man and he will still be wiser. Prov. 09: 07 to 09.

Any fool can start a quarrel. Prov. 20:03.

Deceptions, twists and outright lies define the words of fools. The name of the wicked will rot. Prov. 10:07.

He who hates correction is stupid. Prov. 12:01.

There is always a choice in this life. Live a God's way and enjoy His smile of approval or live as a fool and find destruction. That's the tough and tender truth about living in God's Word.

Topic: More We Seek The Lord Less We Have Fear. When We Are Closely Knit In Christ, No Goliath And No Dragon Can Torment Us. We Can Overpower Any Power And Any Situation That Comes Across.

Prov. 12:25. Anxiety in the heart of man produces depression.

Fear always results in depression. Fear or anxiety also leads to sin. We know Abraham told lies on two specific occasions because of fear of threat to his life.

Every human being is isolated in his or her own struggles. There are handful of struggles, full of issues human being faces. As I said earlier, they could be either rational, physical, mental or of social form.

Is there a way out?? Yes, it's very much if we rely on the living Word of God. There are several promises we can refer to. But for now, let us once again see in Ps. 34:04. I sought the lord and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears.

More we seek the Lord, less we have fear. When we are closely knit in Christ, no Goliath can torment us and we can overpower any power that comes across.

Topic: Who is the Goliath Or Dragon That Is Tormenting You Day And Night Causing Fear And Anxious Moments?

1 Sam. 17:26 Who is this uncircumcised Philistine who defies the armies of the living God?

We all know the chosen generation of God, Israel, their king Saul and the mighty army wilted under fear when Goliath confronted them daily.

Why is it this chosen generation of God feared so greatly and shuddered in fear and anxiety so much so they were unable to look upto the Goliath?

It is because king Saul and his great vast army which included strong handsome brothers of David disobeyed God during the war against Amelakites. And they neither sincerely repented of their deeds. Because of their unconfessed sins, there has been a wall created between God and them. Sin blocked the majestic Omnipotent presence of God. Sin blocked the power of God within, and they became powerless, hopeless and fearful.

We too face the fear of Goliaths when our heart is not clean and sincere before God.

David who loved the Lord, obeyed Him completely and enjoyed His marvelous presence by singing, praising and worshipping the Lord. The power of God has been overcharged and overflowing in his life.

When David went to give food for his brothers who were in the war camp, he heard this Goliath accusing the army of Israel. He could not hold his words hearing this and declared with confidence, power and authority saying these powerful positive words, "Who is this uncircumcised Philistine who defies the armies of the living God?" He did not say, "I will try to strike you" but he declared saying, "I will strike you and take away your head."

Later on when David became king we never hear the names of his brothers who cursed him In the army. No adversaries can do anything to us when we have Him as our refuge.

Even in our day to day lives we may have everything - wealth, power and fame but yet Goliath like dragons visit in the form of Life threatening health crisis, sudden job loss, loss of loved one, the failed marriage, estranged wayward children. These Goliaths are the supersized dangers and fatalities that we are unable to cope up in our daily lives. They cause not only anxiety but produce several health hazards.

Without having the Lord within us in obedience, it's highly impossible to confront these Goliaths and dragons even if we have everything in this world.

Like David, when we have a clean heart with clean intentions and fire to bring glory to God, all these Goliaths will look like dwarfs whom we can trample them under our feet.

When David fought Goliath he is the only person who knew that battle he is winning because of the supernatural power within him.

Gal. 6:9. Let us not be weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest, if we do not give up.

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he stood the test he will receive the crown of life.

Topic : "Life On This Earth Has no remote. Get Up And Change It Yourself." Be productive; Not busy.

Many a times when we face an uphill task we don't take up that task for fear. Reasons of fear can be many. One reason could be fear of failure.

Another reason for fear is, as children of God we shy away from sharing the truth but protect the wrong doers thereby the vision is destroyed. Their silence makes more damage than supporting the truth of the Word of God. Lives many times unfortunately are blinded.

For today, let us focus on "fear of taking up challenging tasks" be it professional or spiritual. Because of fear of failure; fear of what people think when we fail.

We need the push from behind. Let me share regarding a short story. A rich wealthy man who wanted to give her only beautiful daughter to a bold, wise and courageous person who passes one test. Since she was the only daughter, he also promised to give his wealth and property to him too as the next heir.....

....... Rich man was proud of that young man and gave her daughter in marriage to him and made him the next heir of his entire wealth and property.

The lesson that we can learn is " You And I are capable of doing untill we are PUSHED." 🙂

If earthy father knows our abilities how much more our heavenly Father knows? We are sometimes pushed into challenging and difficult circumstances by our Heavenly Father to bring out the best in us.

But sometimes, in this world to live, "We need to push ourselves with faith. Nobody is going to do for us." When we take a step forward the Lord takes with us ten steps forward.

"

There is a saying, "Life on this earth has no remote. Get up and change it yourself." Be productive; Not busy.

"One day the same people that did not believe in you will tell everyone how they met you!" 🙂

Topic : Even Whitest Rose Has A Black Shadow. Even Shadows As We Know Are Temporary. So Too Our Trials Are Temporary As Long We Look And Focus Upon Him. We Are More Than Conquerors Through Christ.

Rom. 08:37. Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

To conquer means "to defeat; to beat; to trounce; to annihilate; to be victorious; to overcome; to overpower; to subdue; to crush..'

But to be more than conquerors means, we not only have victory over satan and it's demonic powers, but we will overhelmingly be victorious because of the risen power of Christ within us.

Let us see one instance on the life of Simon Peter. As long as Peter trusted on the Word of Jesus Christ, he successfully walked on the water. He is the only human being who walked on the water. Many greats in the past decades including people of different faiths tried to emulate this feat but failed. Peter was able walk on water because he walked on the Word of Christ. But, as long as his eyes were fixed on Christ he was able to walk on water.

"Faith produces brightest moments in darkest hours." And "Doubt creates darkest moments even in finest hours.".

Well, same thing has happened. Peter doubted and lost his focus on Christ when he saw waves suddenly buffeting in a hurricane proposition. The moment his eyes turned towards the storm, he doubted and started sinking. We too do the same thing. We doubt the goodness of God in darkest moments in our lives though we have all conquering power of God. We too many a times falter in our faith when we face testing times and trials...

A warm welcome to "Victorious Daily Devotion" in the amazing and wonderful name of Jesus Christ! 💐🌹🙋 May the Lord grant you victory and success throughout this week.

John 15:5 & 6. I am the vine; you are the branches, if you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.

If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch and is withered. And men gather them, and cast them into fire , and they are burned.

Topic : Our Lives Either Bear Fruit And Be A Blessing Or We Are Fruitless And Dry, Worth Nothing But To Be Cut Off And Thrown Away.

This teaching by Jesus was based on "grape growing region" which is easy to understand. Grapevines are hardy plants, and have great strength. And their branches tolerate vigorous pruning. But, if cut off from "life source," however the branches are worthless deadwood. So it is with us.

As long as we remain in Jesus and let His words abide in us, we are strongly wired and rooted to our life source - Christ Himself. Then we bear much fruit visible to the world that we are fruit bearing, which means, we be blessing to others. Such fruit bearing outcome needs daily nourishment God provides us through the Scriptures. The righteous therefore flourish like a palm tree visible to others.

But, if we are not knit and strongly wired to Christ or to say, not rooted in Christ, not exhibiting any of Christ qualities in our day to day lives, then we do not bear fruit, but we will be cut off and wither away to be thrown away useless from His vineyard.

Inspite of whatever work or service we do in the church or in the society, it does not bear fruit, because we neither allow purging, mean to get rid of undesired or unwanted by God nor we like purging or correction by God's people. Such people always love constant pating and flattering to bloat the ego. Such branches are cut off by the Lord inspite of the hard labour.

So, Jesus is the Vine and we are the branches.

The husbandman, mean to say, a person who cultivates the land looks for much fruit.

He removes the branches that are bearing no fruit.

The beauty of the husbandman is he further purges the branches that bring forth fruit, so that they may bring forth more fruit and later much fruit.

Topic: Don't Shine So Others Can See You; Shine So That Through You Others Can See Christ. - C.S. Lewis.

Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father in your heaven. Mt. 5:16.

When we preach, when we sing, when we pray, when we work, when we speak, what all we do, it must clearly manifest the love and light of Christ.

If we see the early church apostles, all their preachings and sermons, light of Christ was clearly manifested. And never they spoke to shine so that others would see them. But they shone through their speeches and lives, people could see the light and love of Christ. All the apostles were in one accord and shared purely gospel of Christ and never spoke against anyone, but exhibited the light of Christ. And thus guided 1000s and 1000s to be added to church every day.

Rapid and tremendous revival and growth in the church. They too like Christ healed the lame, raised the dead. But they never spoke of their achievements nor repeated what great miracles they did. No doubt revival was at its best those days and birth of Church took place.

Word of God says, love your enemies. Forget loving enemies, in the present days, we see clearly even love among families is missing. love towards each other in the churches is missing. Everyone trying to pull others and pull servants of God. Spending time to outwit each other, forgetting that we are ALL accountable before His presence one day.

We hear few people sharing purely the Word of God like those apostles to equip, to encourage, to energise, to revive, to restore and to bring resurgence of the church for His glory.

Revival has come to standstill these days. Because It's all self praise, self achievements what they did. That too very old achievements. Because nothing new happening in the lives. Rest of the time it's used to flatter people who are useful to them in order to gain something. There is no time to allow God's Word and for God to be glorified. And therefore revival is missing.

"What we did is not that important but what we are doing is more important. How you were is not that important; but how we are now is most important."

Let us not shine so that others can see us like the prayer of a Pharisee. But let us sincerely shine like the mosy blessed apostles of the early church recorded in the book of Acts like Simon Peter, Stephen, Philip, Apostle Paul, Barnabas, Silas, John Mark, Timothy, Aquila and Priscilla, Lydia, Justin and several others who shone with their lives and being instrumental in shining where people could see the light of Christ, His love, His power and blessings through them.

Topic ; "How You And I Can Conquer Loneliness As Children Of God?"

"Look For Yourself And You Will Find Loneliness And Despair. But Look For Christ And You Will Find Him And Everything Else." says C.S. Lewis.

In his book, "The Devil's Advocate," Morris West says "we need to understand that loneliness is not new. It comes to all of us sooner or later. We have to know and understand that loneliness is unavoidable sometimes. Our best strategy is not to deny it, but to defeat it."

There are four great truths based on the divine God's Word we can combat or overcome loneliness:

1. Embrace Intimacy with God.

2. We need to allow God's Word to fill our hearts and minds.

3. Associate with network of Christian friends.

4. With prayer, we need to select friends or peer group who can add "value to our lives" and not worthless friends or groups who destroy or kill our appetite thereby destroying our future. Ps. 01: 1-4.

We can take comfort in knowing that we are not alone in our loneliness. Everyone experiences it - even Bible heroes like David, prophet Jermiah and Elijah the prophet experienced.

For today, let us dwell on the importance of having intimacy with God to defeat or to overpower loneliness.

Ps. 16:11. You will show me the path of life; in your presence is fullness of joy.

Only our loving and living risen God Almighty can solve the problem of loneliness. He created us in such a way that, emptiness and void can be filled by an intimate relationship with the Jesus Christ.

Not wealth, not status, not power nor position can fill that void. We've seen several wealthy, most popular celebraties declared emptiness and loneliness in their lives and died of depression.

Unless God is at home in our hearts, we will always feel incomplete and empty. He was left alone on the cross by our Heavenly Father. He was abandoned for us all alone on the cross so that we might be never alone when we receive Him within. But we need to be fully assured that we have Him in our hearts and abide by His Word.

Topic : "The Only Cure To A Lonely And Depressed Heart As Far As I Know Is, To Have Jesus Within, And To Be Alone With Him Every Day." - Benedict.

Ps 102 : 7. I lie awake; I've become like a bird alone on a roof top.

Loneliness may creep in on us like a shadow without warning or it could come like aftermath of a great storm of hurricane proportion leaving scattered pieces of lives everywhere. We oftentimes allow the enemy to use this 'season of loneliness' and further derails us to discouragement and despondency.

Some of us have seasons of loneliness because of broken relationships within the family, misunderstandings between friends and other places.

We, as Christians are most privileged to combat loneliness easily than others, because we know and experience His risen power. But often times, Christians behave like orphans when we are surrounded by difficult situations, because Christ truly doesn't reign in our lives. We get hurt easily. We get disturbed easily. Signs of loneliness.

Irrespective of any religion, a person who knows the Lord as His Savior, who loves the Lord, and doesn't like sin to invade his life, will conquer loneliness much better than others.

John D. Rockefeller was one of the wealthiest man in USA. His wealth was incalculable. This is what Dale Carnegie has to say of him in his biography. Rockefeller's obsession with wealth was soo much he was unable to sleep. His digestive system was damaged, and obsession of wealth over the living Lord was so much, in the fag end of his life he could not enjoy the wealth he earned, but it brought him fatigue, disease, distress and loneliness. His entire digestive system was damaged. And he was forced to eat "baby food" because of indigestion. Richest man sobbed, "Doctor! What is the use of all my wealth? I'm unable to eat one morsel of food," he lamented. loneliness and fear were his last companions. He sobbed and said, "I'm wearied of this world."

Yes, truly loneliness will lead ultimately to weariness, disease and distress which are all manifestations of darkness.

Ps. 30 ; 05. For his anger is but for a moment; His favour is for life. Weeping may endure for a night. But, joy comes in the morning.

"For every dark cloud, there is a silver lining."

Often times, we experience mountain top experiences, and we also dive through the darkest nights and deep valley experiences. But, mostly God gives His revelations, vision and dreams during the nights/dark hours.

God often takes His children into chamber of pain and draws the curtains while He brings out the features of His divine own image.
