The Rapture is the event happening when the dead in Christ, and we who are alive at Christ's return are immediately physically transformed rather then passing through natural death and we ascend to meed the Lord in the clouds. There are various propositions as to when this occurs in the sequesnce of events.....Pre-Trib Rapture: Rapture occurs before the tribulation period.Mid-Trib Rapture: Rapture midway, believers don't face wrath.Pre-Wrath: Church partakes in part of the Trib; taken out just before worse.Post -Trib Rapture: Rapture occurs end of seven years.Partial Rapture: Christians divided, "overcomers", "non-overcomers".Pan-Trib Rapture: For those who figure "it will all 'pan out' in the end"CHRIST WARNED US IN THE 'END OF DAYS' NOT TO BE DECEIVED, WATCH AND BE READY!

I say this with absolute certainty. Built upon knowledge and understanding of all prophecies and credibility the Lord spoke through profecies that have been 100% accurate. They're willing to compromise, because for them it is about survival, even if it is temporal! (Isa 28:15) The radicalized Islamic movement will be shut down for the sake of a larger agenda, a 'false peace' that Israel can 'potentially' be annihilated.

Paul warned of a time when people would not endure sound teaching, but desire to have teachers to suit their own passions turning from the truth and wander into myths. (II Tim 4) Paul's warning has proved true, especially today, when we have a multitude of preachers proclaiming half-truths and false doctrines to entice and gather for their own benefits.

Here are some interesting questions. I believe they have a great deal of significance to the topic today so I would like to pose them to you...1. What will guard us against foolish extremes? 2. What characterizes those who are habitually successful? 3. What single quality in a business builds resepct deeper than any other? 4.What brings security in relationships? 5. What strengthens confidence in leaders? 6. What is needed most by parents in the home? 7. What will add more weight to your witness for Christ than anything else?The answer to all: consistency. Being steadfast, persistant, something or someone you can count on. Mothers are made of this when little ones get sick. As are missionaries who lose themselves in their labor even though it yields little fruit. Determination is its strength...Diligence is its brother...Dependability is its partner...Discipline is its parent.

Scripture equates life to a 'race'. In it, learning where we put our trust is essential to overcoming the obstacles we'll face. Living is about gaining, gaining is about losing. A daily commitment to our Lord and Saviour is required to live this life victoriously. God promise that if we are committed. We are 'DESTINED TO WIN!' Let us start today and make it literally the beginning of the rest of our lives....A VICTORIOUS LIFE!!!

The law of God is like x-ray. It has the power to expose, but not the power to heal. Rules change no one. The law of God shows the unreachable distance between what we are and what God originally made us to be. God's law is like a spotlight revealing who and where we are. We sing about that: Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. This is God's greatest desire, to get us from where we are to where we need to be and it does that through and by His Amazing Grace.

As we conclude our series on the fact that ‘God is a God of Second Chances’, we have learned that Jonah was confronted and humbled by God’s steadfast love toward an undeserving Nineveh. He was disappointed that God relented and did not punish the city as he had expected. But God, in his mercy, offered grace and forgiveness to a repentant city. God is serious about sin and will punish our disobedience, yet we need to see that his loving-kindness goes beyond our understanding. Because of his loving-kindness we stand forgiven and clothed in righteousness.

Jonah understood and dealt with all of the disastrous consequences of bad decisions and choices he had made. Most of us have made and dealt with consequences of the bad decisions we have made. Often times, they are painful and leave us with regrets, wishing we had another chance to do better. God, in His mercy, provides us second chances, third chances and many more! We can either waste these precious opportunities or use them to turn things around in our lives. We can rejoice that God is offering us second, third, and even more chances. Join us as expose all of the opportunities missed, and witness all the opportunities gained by simply turning back to the one who, just like with Samson, turned back to us.
