"Where is the church from the book of Acts?" was the question presented to me. Let's take a journey to discover the love, unity, selflessness and surrender the early church demonstrated. Let us look for characteristics of where we, the Body of Christ, should be today.

"If you then, being carnal, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!"

As we seek to understand the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, we must understand that God is not the author of confusion. He gave gifts to men so the church could be edified and His purposes could be fulfilled. This devotion educates us on the gift of tongues, the gift of interpretation of tongues and the proper use of the spiritual gifts given to us by God. Let us be motivated by love, honor the Lord and strengthen the Body of Christ.

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be [a]witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8, NKJV)

2020 is the year that we should be so focused and on fire for God, that people will come for miles to watch us burn. Since Christ has won the victory for us, now is the time to truly be about our father's business.
