In the midst of what’s happening around the world, it is easy to be troubled. Our minds can quickly get littered with fears, questions, and anxious thoughts. But God—through the birth of Christ— made a beautiful promise of peace, which is more than just the absence of conflict or anxiety. We will look at how Jesus, our Messiah, is meant to restore our perfect “shalom” with God and rule over us with justice and righteousness.

What does it mean to have Jesus as the light of the world? We normally only view eternal life as the afterlife, or life after death; our existence beyond life on earth. However, eternal life here also describes the quality of life we can live on earth. We'll take a look at how Jesus is eternal life.

As we take a break from the series, join us as we look into the Scriptures from 2 Chronicles 20, on how we can win in every battle we face by keeping our eyes on God. 

Have you ever found yourself asking — "Am I where I’m supposed to be?", "Am I doing what God has created me for?", "Am I fulfilling my life’s purpose?" As we take a series break,  we'll look into the story of Moses and the Burning Bush to learn about God's ways of inviting us to seek Him and pursue our calling.

In our study of Isaiah, we have seen that time and again God’s people failed to fulfill their part of the covenant. On the contrary, God always honors the covenant and commitment He made to His people. Let's take a look at God's promise of victory and how He fulfills this promise in our lives today.

As we look into the book Isaiah we will find that the land of God's people during their time was filled with inequity, justice, violence and corruption. How does God respond to this to bring hope? We'll look into how God continues to keep His covenant of righteousness in the lives of His people. 

As a result of sin and disobedience, God’s people were taken to Babylon in chains. Defeated, they found themselves in a new land with no place to worship their God. Let's take a look at God's promise of restoration for His people. 

If we truly want to know someone, we must draw near and listen. On this episode, we look into the book of Isaiah to read God's invitation for us to know Him, and the wonderful benefits we have in drawing near to Him.
