November 20, 2016. Jesus answers a sincere question about the greatest commandment in the Law. He then gives a lesson in giving while watching people at the treasury.

November 13, 2016. After giving the Parable of the Wicked Vinedressers, Jesus is questioned by the Pharisees, Herodians, Sadducees, and the scribes. Each group is either trying to trick Him, or use him for political purposes.

November 6, 2016. Jesus give the most concise teaching on faith to His disciples. He tells us how to believe, speak and stand in faith.

October 30, 2016. When Jesus came to Jericho he encountered a man who knew his covenant. Bartimaeus called upon Jesus as the Son of David and placed a demand on the anointing of Jesus.

October 9, 2016. Jesus answers two important questions in this passage. What does the Law say about divorce? Can relationships and possessions get in the way of serving God?

October 2, 2016. Jesus takes His inner circle of Peter, James and John up on the mountain to witness His transfiguration. He also teaches them a lesson on authority when they encountered demonic activity.

September 25, 2016. Jesus once again is ministering to a hungry crowd. After just witnessing the feeding of the five thousand, not one disciple suggests that He do this again. Jesus is amazed at how quickly they forgot.

September 18, 2016. Jesus stirs up controversy again with His teaching against the self-righteous Jewish customs of the day. Can what a person eats or drinks defile them? Jesus answers this and also shows His contempt for their hypocrisy regarding the care of aging parents. Then He ministers healing to a gentile mother and a man that was deaf and mute.

September 11, 2016. Jesus feeds a multitude of 5000 men and their families with only 5 loaves and 2 fish. That same night He walks on the water and catches up to the disciples on the Sea of Galilee.

September 4, 2016. Jesus is rejected in Nazareth and tells His disciples how to also handle rejection as they are commissioned. Jesus is compared to John the Baptist, who had been executed by Herod. Mark goes on to tel the story of how Herod was manipulated into killing John.
