In today’s message, Pastor Clyde challenges a famous quote by Chuck Palahniuk: “No, it’s not fair, but what makes earth feel like Hell is our expectation that it should feel like Heaven. Earth is earth. Dead is dead. You’ll find out for yourself soon enough. It won’t help the situation for you to get all upset.” Sometimes our lives feel like we’re living in hell but what is it in my life that prevents me from experiencing a measure of heaven on earth after accepting Christ as my Saviour? No, it’s not fair, but sometimes as mature Christians we need to realise that what Jesus said was “Your Kingdom Come Your Will be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven” and as a child of God there’s a part of heaven in you! 20th Aug 2017.

Pastor Clyde reads from Luke 17 urging us to understand that there is an opportunity for praise and thankfulness.  Often we see our need to pray but miss our opportunity to praise, when we praise God with a thankful heart we receive blessing.  Ultimately, Jesus is the object of our thankful praise.
