The greatest leaders in the Bible all had to have help, and that even includes Jesus. Because sometimes the reality and pressures of life can bend or even break us, and when that happens, we need to be held up. We need to have some sort of support. God, through the Body of Christ has given us that support, and that is reflect in this sermon today “Hold Me Up”.

Exodus 17:8-15

When the Israelites came to the bitter water, instead of looking to God as their solution, they complained. For some of us, complaining is just as natural as breathing, but it takes a focal change. We have to fix our hearts and minds on Christ.

We will all face untenable situations. The proverbial "giant" will encompass us, but we believe in the God who is "able". Now, he may not do it the way that we prefer, but out trials and tribulations are more about the power of God than us. Today we learn this same message from Moses and the Israelites as they faced their own impossible challenge.

Exodus 14.

When God moves on our behalf, we should not stay the same. Not only should we change, but we should also be motivated to tell people about who God is and to give Him all of ourselves.

Exodus 13:3-16

The Bible forces us to come to grips with all the ways of who God is. In today's sermon, Pastor Brandon delivers an emphatic blow from scripture that shows us that the most "powerful" in our world do not hold a candle to God's power. Looking at the ten plagues the Egyptians faced, we will see how God delivers the fatal blow to those little "g" gods.

Exodus 7:20-24

Sometimes as Christians, we can forget God's promises, but often, that is because we have disconnected ourselves from the word of God. If you want to remember what God has spoken, then you have to be in relationship with His Word.

Exodus 6:1-13

As Christians, we should expect to face resistance when we do the work of Christ. In fact, if we find things to be easy, then that may be a sign that we are on the wrong side of the fight. Trials and resistance should be treated as confirmation we are doing God's work.

Exodus 5

Some things we read in the Bible are hard to understand, and they may even make us question God, but God is perfect, and it is impossible for him to make mistakes. Listen now as Pastor Brandon explains this hard text.

Exodus 4:21:-26

Some of the most sobering news one can receive is that they already have everything that they need when they thought they needed more. In the same way, God shows Moses that he'd provided him with everything he needed for his success, but there was a catch. He had to be obedient.

Exodus 4:1-12

If you can do it without God, then it doesn't take faith, and if it doesn't take faith, then you don't need God. God works best through our humble submission. He is the great I AM, and I AM not HIM.
