To cap off our series Seedtime and Harvest, we will look into the life of Isaac, and on the truth that God’s Word is the powerful seed we plant in our hearts and finance is the seed we plant in the place of God’s will in faith.

In this week's message, Noel Landicho leads us in our study of Noah's life in the Book of Genesis. Right after the world is destroyed and they have to start all over again, God gives seed to Noah. In the worst of times, our rescue is in the seed.

This week, let us talk about the fact that right from Creation, in the best of times, God gave seed to man in this message from Ado Bernardo.

Miraculous events that happened at the tomb of Jesus: the great earthquake, an angel appeared and rolled the stone, and the resurrected Jesus appeared.

The resurrection of Christ is a miraculous event that revealed Jesus as greater than death, worthy of worship, and worth proclaiming to the whole world.

Miraculous events that happened: three hours of darkness, curtain torn from top to bottom, earth shook, the rocks split, tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life.

The death of Jesus Christ is a miraculous event that revealed Him as the Son of God, the wisdom of God, and the power of God disarming rulers and authorities in triumph. (1 Corinthians 1:22-25; Col 2:13-15)

As we open our Christmas series, Ado Bernardo encourages us with a word from the Gospel of John and how God revealed Himself in the person of Jesus. In the Old Testament, God showed Himself in the flesh in various Christophanies. Experiencing God in the flesh was a rare experience in the Old Testament. It was something to be feared and may even entail a person dying by being in the presence of God. 

Christmas reminds us that Jesus, who is uncreated, second person of the Trinity, and fully God, stepped in our world to be with us and be like us. God pitched His tent with us or “tabernacled” with us, so that we may be redeemed and be called children of God.
