After the miraculous defeat of the Amalekites by God through the Children of Israel, Moses built an altar and called the name of the place "Jehovah-Nissi, the Lord our Banner." The Lord is always triumphant in His battles. We must make sure those are the ones we are engaged in - His battles (those of eternal value), and not our annoyances or distractions.
