The songwriter wrote: "If I never had a problem. I'd never have known God could solve them. I'd never have known what faith in God can do!" Tribulation worth patience. Patience experience and experience hope. Trails given to Him builds hope. Do not run from trials---give them to Him!

Storms are a fact of life! You may think you will somehow avoid them BUT you won't and if you live long enough you will lose loved ones, you will hurt from those you love dying, financial reversals, marital trails---the list goes on and on BUT---we have an "anchor" for our souls---a "very present help" in time of trouble!

2 Cor. 4:8 Paul said, "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down but not destroyed!" How?? Have you ever felt the heartaches of life, the vicious attacks of the enemy? Ever felt all alone? You are not my friend---listen to this program!

Trails and tribulation are real BUT so is the matchless power of God. God is able to meet every need in your life! The idea that we "fake it til we make it" is just not the right way to approach the trials of life. Take your burdens to the Lord and leave them there. He is able!

As Christians we spend a lot of time trying to figure out when Jesus is coming again instead of rejoicing that He IS coming again! My friend heaven will be there when we get there and our loved ones who have gone on in the Lord before us will also be there WHEN we get there! 

There is coming a day when we will understand it all much better but for now our job is to trust and obey and rest in the fact He knows what He is doing! Thank God He didn't leave us to wonder but gave us His Word and tells us exactly what will happen before He comes!

We spend way too much time trying to understand the why's of life rather than just rusting He knows what He is doing and He knows what is best for us! To know He is in control and He has your best interest at heart is what we need to know!

Heb. 6:17-19 says we have an anchor for our soul which is stedfast and sure. We may not understand all that is happening but God says He loved us so much that He didn't want us to wonder---He left us an anchor that we can hold fast to no matter the circumstances.
