There is but one purpose for the church and that is to preach Jesus and Him crucified and the Savior for the world. Music is great but it only sets an atmosphere for the preaching. The one and only hope for this world is Jesus!

Proverbs 1:7 "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of all knowledge." There was a day when we understand their was a consequence for sin. AND we understand their was a consequence OF our sin---the cross. We have left off the preaching of the cross is many of our churches! 

Where is the church failing not only the kids but adults as well? Even when we preach about the need to trust Jesus Christ we fail to preach about the consequences of NOT trusting Him! Hell is still as hot as ever. Why I don't pray "even so Lord Jesus come quickly."

How did you find time to raise your own children as busy as you were? Why I decided years ago to not go to movies or ballgames! What do we do to end the senseless things kids are doing?

Moses made a mistake many of us do in thinking it's all about our abilities rather than the power and promises of God. God is able! We are to just say "Here am I use me Lord."

Exodus 3 tells us "Moses hid his face from God" In short, he just didn't want to do what God wanted him to do with his life. The will of God is full of obstacles and challenges BUT it is the only life worth living and full of untold blessings and what we will in the end be judged by!

You can count the apples on a tree but no one knows the apples in a seed. The real reason Moses didn't want to go to Egypt---he didn't want to!

Family members and strife---Should you be vaccinated---when will the cancel culture and the attacks on gender quit---Is the anti-Christ alive today?

There is a big difference between "knowing" about God and His Word and "claiming" it and making His promises real in your life---making His Word a bridge for YOU over troubled waters.

I challenge you today to believe in a great BIG wonderful God who is bigger than any mountain you may be facing. He knows your need and is able to do above and beyond anything any of us dare dream. It is so hard to dream when the world is pounding on you but He says "Where there is no vision the people perish."
