There are some simple secrets to being happy even when it seems the world is generally unhappy. Spend time first of all around people who will help build your Christian life not around people who pull you down---even if they are members of your own family!

Are these people pushing their wicked agenda just plain stupid or evil? Where do all these evil school board members coming from? How do you stay so positive with all the junk going on? Why won't more preachers tell it like it is?

If you plant corn you get corn. Beans you get beans. Blessings and encouragement you get blessings and encouragement. Pass it forward and thou shalt be blessed!

Not everyone can be a star or great player in the game---but everyone can be a cheerleader. Have you ever sang the little jingle "This little light of mine. I'm going to let it shine?" Time to shine my friend---in fact, we are commanded to do just that in these last days!

Everyone needs encouragement but did you know that one of THE most important commands of these last days is that each of us be an encourager? God promises us great blessings and provisions if we are comforters and encouragers in these last days.

One of the greatest blessings in our Christian lives is to be an encourager of others AND it provides a great source of blessings! Encourage someone today!

There is a commandment found in Hebrews 10:25 that far too many are treating as a suggestion. Put your seatbelt on today---we are going for a rough yet true ride. We all need to decide who we want to please!

The early disciples didn't pray to be delivered---they prayed for boldness and that God would be glorified. We are spending way too much energy praying for a sinking ship and not enough for those perishing when she goes down!
