Victory Today

What do you say to someone who says they do not believe the Bible? What is your recommendation concerning children returning to school? How long should you keep praying for something when an answer doesn't seem to be coming? Pastor answers these questions and more on today's broadcast.

The Bible says we should "come boldly to the throne of grace!" Jacob said he would not let go until God blessed him. Earnest praying---bold praying in the spirit according to the plan of God is what we need today. Keep on keeping on in earnest, bold prayer!

More than all the great preachers I have ever met or the great singers over 47 years of Pastoring---the impact of this 12 year old boy revolutionized my ministry and my entire faith life. This is a story you need to hear.

The main goal of our life according to God's Word is to bring honor and glory to God. One big reason we don't get our prayers answered the way we want is we are asking amiss! God wants what is best for us and what furthers His plan for our lives!

Many times in prayer we are asking God for things for our own comfort rather than His will and for His glory! Have you ever received an answer from Him that was quite different than you expected?

Pastor answers some really great questions you've sent regarding what new Christians (and old) struggle with the most in their walk with God. What are the main things we as Christians need to look for before voting for a candidate,  His opinion on current events.

Romans 4:21 says Abraham was "fully persuaded" that God was able to perform what He had promised. My question today is: Are you? Today I will give you several reasons you can rest totally assured that God is able to do exactly and all He has promised!

Too many look at the Bible as just a book of don'ts intended to ruin your fun. In truth, it's a book of God's love and full of promises the most important one is how we can know for sure heaven will be our home when this earthly journey is over! And His GPS for the trip.

The sad truth is there are far too many starving spiritually with the keys to a grocery store in their pocket. God loves you so much He sent His Son to die for you and gave you His precious Word to comfort you. He loves you and has everything you need. Just trust Him!

With Bibles in every language and available through many electronic and internet means it is true---we will be "without excuse!" AND especially in these times of great trial His comfort and encouragement and promises are available at our finger  tips.
