Should being a Christian actually form the foundation of our belief system? Paul says in Romans 12 that we should not be conformed to the world but "transformed" by the renewing of our minds. When we give our hearts to Jesus should we also give Him our minds?

Romans Chapter 12 Paul right after telling us to give Jesus our "reasonable service" says "and be not conformed to the world"---one of the signs of the "last days" is God's people will abandon His Word and conform to the world---lukewarmess, a great falling away, not enduring sound doctrine---we're there folks!
