A special 4th of July program

I am sure most listening today feel we are in the "last of the last days" and Jesus is coming soon. BUT---what if God has a different plan? What if He wants His people to wake -up and stand-up and humble themselves, pray, weep and fast?

Jesus not only rose from the grave but He was seen of well over 500 people. He made an open show of conquering Satan. We have a victory to show this world AND we have so much to be thankful for---in spite of all the problems we see around us. It's much worse elsewhere!

Our freedoms have been purchased with a price. People did not just throw their hands up and say "God will have His way>" He gave us a will! True everything is either God caused or God allowed BUT allowed by Him giving us a will. HIt is NOT His will a man take a gun and kill his whole family or rob his neighbor or any of the other henious crimes men commit. That is man exerciseing the free will God has allow him to have.

I am not ashamed of the gospel! Update on Lauren. Nasty emails I get. The debate. We've got to stop burying our kids. A day when we could disagree without hating, threatening or retailiation.

I'm sure most of us have heard someone say something really offensive and said to ourselves, "Buddy one day you're gonna get yours!" Well according to God---they will and in many cases you and I will see it. Stand firm, tell it like it is, be a good soldier and God will deliver you!

Prov.1:7 says "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of all knowledge." We have in many cases lost the fear of the Lord. Ezekiel said the God's preachers put "no difference between the profane and the holy." I really believe we have lost the meaning of profane!

Growing up in the 60's we knew what was profane and what was holy. Sadly, we have blurred those lines and actually embrace wickedness that we once would never have tolerated. I blame our pulpits and thosee we have elected for this moral decay of our lands and the lives of our children that have been destroyed.

The Bible in Matthew 6:24 says you can't serve two masters. The world and God but many are saying today "I'll take both." When you wonder how we have fallen in the trials of todeay look no farther than the churches who put no difference between the profane and the holy!
