Jeremiah wept and later Jesus himself wept over Jerusalem because they both knew what was going to happen didn't have to happen! There was and is a God who loves us and is able to do anything we need Him to do! 2 Chronicles 20:15 tells us the battle is not ours but the Lord's. Your trial is not yours to bear. He loves you and wants to give you a victory! The songwriter said, "Oh what needless pain we bear..."

Throughout the Word of God His care and love of children is very clear. As a nation turns to wickedness and that wickedness destroys the lives of children He promises blessings to those who love and care for those children. This is our time---these are our children and one day He will demand an accounting of---what did you do for the least of these!

When was the last time you wept over the crisis our children are facing? It is not enough to say "Oh that's terrible." God tells us to weep and TO DO! We are a generation of hearers but far to few doers! Our children and society in genral, are dying before our eyes AND going to a Godless eternity while you and I know there IS an answer and His name is Jesus.
