Victory Today

Proverbs 29:18 says, "Where there is no vision the people perish!" So I ask you, what is your vision? When the marriage loses its vision the marriage perishes. When the family loses its vision the family perishes. When the company loses its vision the company perishes. When the country loses its vision the country perishes.

Today we will take a trip down memory lane with the late great Red Skelton a great comidien who never swore---never told filthy jokes and was a true American patriot. Also, several excepts from speeches of President Ronald Reagan.

The prophet Joel tells us the day of the Lord is darkness. It is not light. Many are looking forward to that day and certainly it is coming and there are many great benefits to the rapture---BUT---don't forget those we will be leaving behind and the horrors they shall face AND we will be face to face with the Lord AND surrounded with the witnesses who have died for our freedoms!

There is coming a day when we will see the great cloud of witnesses spoken of in Hebrews chapter 12 verse one. These are people who were willing to die rather than renounce their faith. People who watched their children die rather than turn on Jesus. We will see them and they will wonder why we so easily turned from our faith which cost them everything.

History is repleat with stories of people who gave their lives to protect our religious freedoms. People who chose to die and see their loved ones die rather than renounce their faith. We will see all of them someday in heaven. What will we say to them?

When you go to paint something and the paint has been siting a while you have to stir it up. Same with our spiritual life---you have to constantly "stir up the gift that is in you." Today I will share the process I use to maintain a consistant trust in Him.
