Sin will take you farther than you ever wanted to go! Like cancer it starts off so small then grows and grows and the biggest mistake people make is in thinking THEY can handle it---they can get out of it without the help of the one and only way out---Jesus Christ. There is not a sin He does not hate nor a sinner He does not love!

So often I have heard from people, "I just don't seem it be able to get a victory over---" There is a little known secret to actually winning a battle over sin that we will discuss in this message!

What do you do with a 13 year old female killer? What do you feel the truth is about the border crisis? How does the liberal gestapo control youth facilities? What will be your main emphasis in 2023? What is the difference between trusting Jesus and His Lordship?

The Shepards made haste to obey God! Mary and then Joseph made haste to obey when God spoke. Though what they were being told was certainly strange they obeyed when God spoke. In many of our cases God may speak but do we obey with haste or do we doubt, delay or simply ignore His call which is dangerous!

Is Jesus really Lord of your life? Are you totally surrendered to His will? What about when things we don't like happen? Friends turn on us? Loss of a loved one? Things just don't seem to be going our way? Most are ok with "some things" but if "All things work together for good"---then when do we quit trusting???

So often we forget the three messages the angel delivered to the Shepards that first Christmas night: Fear Not! Peace on earth and good will to men! So many fear when God's desire is it be well with us! And if the world needs anything it is the Peace that only can come from Him and good will towards men!

Complaining comes easy for many BUT counting our blessings---thanking Him for His goodness oft times doesn't. The Shunamite woman had just had her son die. When she came to the prophet and he asked---Is it well with you, your husband, your son? Her response was IT IS WELL! Learn today how she could say that and why!

You probably would have a much easier time of it if you'd quit preaching about homosexuality and abortion! My Pastor never preaches about those things! Complaining won't bring blessings! The turning away from God's structure for the home and manhood and womanhood! How we are slapping God in the face!

Over the years I have heard people say that the reason someone did not trust Christ is they thought just saying prayer was too easy. Well first of all it's not "just" saying a prayer and we'll talk about that today BUT "easy?" not for God and certainly not for Jesus! 

I encourage you to read Proverbs 24:10-13! 450 children will die today of "un-natural causes!" Your news will tell of the deaths by suicide, overdoses, crime and etc. Many will shake their heads in dismay and say how terrible that is BUT---not be willing to send an email or make a call or tell someone personally the hope can only be found in Jesus Christ! Our job is to try!
