On Episode #48, Josh and I look back on Portland Retro Gaming Expo 2022. We had such a blast and it was great to see everyones face in real life again! We had fans like our 5th biggest fan Michael show up, say hi, and even buy some games! Even the man himself Dan "because he had to..." Kaplan was there! If you missed out, you missed out.

Wata Unveiled their new case design, CGC started accepting submissions at the show, and Josh pooped his pants.....(I honestly don't know, but he might have!)...

Video Game Collectors Podcast #47 Welcomes Jason from Mynty. We take our first look at Mynty and what they are about to release! From what I have seen so far, this is going to take video game pricing to the next level! This encompasses so many things that you could want in not only pricing games, but tracking, keeping collections, and potential future forums and video game information. I love that people like Jason are out there creating things that they want as a collector and then sharing that with the rest of us. I think his 2 years of grinding on this is really going to pay off not just for him, but for all of us. I will be using it anyway and maybe it can help you with your collection as well :-)

Josh and Matt go over the ways they are finding deals on not just sealed video games, but any type of collectable you might be looking for. Some of these might sound basic, but they are effective.

In the end, it is about hustle and being consistent and being fair in your deals. If you can create win/win scenarios, people will come back and want to do more deals with you. If you are patient and stay consistent, you will almost guaranteed find deals.

Sometimes you may see deals we find or maybe another youtuber and think we are lucky or that is so far from what you are finding, but remember, most deals are due to footwork and hustle people put effort into years and years ago. I can personally remember a deal that I worked on for 14 years! It was still one of our biggest scores to date. Build great relationships with people and it will come back to you at some point. You get what you give!
