On Video Game Collectors Podcast #105 We pay tribute to a friend and fellow video game collector Dan Kaplan. Dan had been fighting Colon Cancer for some time and didn't want to draw attention to it publicly. He sets a great example of what a genuine good person should be. Funny, very nice, a great father and a loving husband. Humble, giving, and passionate about video games!

I would always ask Dan if it was ok that we poked fun at him and he loved it. He was even in on a lot of jokes we played on others. If there was anything questionable, I would run it by him first and he was normally always good with it. A great sport to the end.

He had some of his collection sent to Heritage Signature Auctions and the proceeds with go to his family. We encourage anyone with the means to go and bid on any of Dan's items (If you so chose).
