On Video Game Collectors Podcast #109 we welcome special guest Lloyd “Danceman” Ancman! Llloyd has an amazing story and an even more amazing collection of some of the worlds rarest NES carts. The most rare of those being the recently found Minnesota Lottery Cart!
Having met Lloyd in person at PRGE I can say that he is a very down to earth and great guy. Also very fair, honest, and giving. He brings up some great things for collectors to consider and tips to help new collectors based on his personal experience.
Great episode and look forward to have Lloyd back on in the future, hopefully with another amazing find!

Happy Halloween from Video Game Collectors Podcast! On episode #108 we give a quick update and what to look forward to in future episodes.
Many guests lined up and looks like people liked digging through random sealed games and deciding “to grade or not to grade”. We will also have a follow up video with the grades I got and what I plan to do with them. Hope you all have a happy and safe Halloween!

On episode #107 of Video Game Collectors, Matt breaks out a storage container full of random sealed games he has had in his closet for years. Obviously there are no bangers or they would have been graded right away. But this lead to the question, what do you do with average games you have bought in the past? Are they worth grading? Or, should you dump them as is? Or, just hang on to them? Or…lol, throw them at homeless people?…I’m only kidding about that, gently toss them 🙂
We also look at Heritage Auctions Pioneer auction coming up and read comments 🙂

On Video Game Collectors Podcast #105 We pay tribute to a friend and fellow video game collector Dan Kaplan. Dan had been fighting Colon Cancer for some time and didn’t want to draw attention to it publicly. He sets a great example of what a genuine good person should be. Funny, very nice, a great father and a loving husband. Humble, giving, and passionate about video games!
I would always ask Dan if it was ok that we poked fun at him and he loved it. He was even in on a lot of jokes we played on others. If there was anything questionable, I would run it by him first and he was normally always good with it. A great sport to the end.
He had some of his collection sent to Heritage Signature Auctions and the proceeds with go to his family. We encourage anyone with the means to go and bid on any of Dan’s items (If you so chose).
Dan will always be part of Video Game Collectors Podcast and never forgotten.

Gold NWC cart hits auction for the first time in many year! This is great to see and exciting for collectors (including us). There are 15 known copies and roughly 11 that were made that haven’t been found (many are likely destroyed or thrown away). These are as rare and important as it gets. Definitely a grail for many collectors.
See the auction on Goldin here: https://goldin.co/item/1990-nes-nintendo-gold-world-championships-missing-cartridge-usa-cartrwlodh
We also notice and discover that there are not 1, but 2 Sealed Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out White bullet variant copies! So many years people speculated if any existed, now we can say for sure that at least 2 still do. Talk about rare and desired! Crazy town!
Also, how do you all feel about Nintendo’s release of the NWC anniversary for the Switch? Leave your thoughts and comments below on it
