The news is light this week, so let’s talk the video games I’m playing and making! I talk where I am in Zelda Breath of the Wild and Shadow of War. And then I talk the latest in my game dev studies and announce my first game jam I’m attending.

We start our countdown of the top 5 video games of 2017! Today is #5 with Cuphead - a fantastic visual masterpiece with an obscene amount of difficulty to make you fell accomplished.

The Disney/Fox deal may not directly impact video gaming, but there are some things about it to think about that could in the future. Also some discussion on the new Afterparty game and Take-Two testing the indie waters!

With the year wrapping up and less gaming news coming out, I decided to give you a very special (and somewhat personal) episode this time. I finished up Hellblade : Senua’s Sacrifice this past weekend - it’s a fantastic game and experience, but also brought to light something I can sympathize with in regards to the mental health issues it was trying to portray.
