We had to take a quick week off, so Fred is here to explain the details. As a bonus he adds a positive spin on some recent negative announcements in gaming.
This week Trees largely lays low while Fred takes a road trip to the Midwest Gaming Classic. It turns out the adventure is almost as eventful as the destination. On the gaming front:
This week Trees tells us all about his adventures up the coast and visiting Freeman kingdom. He also started an actual e-mail for sending in any questions you may have: [email protected], so send those in for an upcoming bonus episode!
On the gaming front:
This week Trees goes game shopping while Fred has to deal with a broken DualSense (PS5) controller. On the gaming front:
This week Trees is back to standard routines while Fred goes to the movies with Morbius and Sonic 2 (both spoiler free). We're actually giving time tags now for the gaming section:
Despite the short description, this is a long show (almost 3 1/2 hours). This week Trees is dealing with movie-like drama while Fred overdoes it. There's also a side tangent about games media and podcasts as well as listener question about the new Playstation Plus subscriptions. Finally in gaming Trees is wrapping, and enjoying, Mass Effect 3 while Fred played Destroy All Humans! (2021), Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, and his highlight Ghostwire: Tokyo.
This week Trees has an uplifting series of events while Fred talks about plans to attend the Midwest Gaming Classic in Milwaukee at the end of April. On the gaming front, Trees is making his way through Mass Effect 3 and finding it's not as strong as he'd hoped and remembered. Fred is wrapping Mass Effect 2 and finally retires Tunic.
This week Trees struggles with illness and coy cheerleaders while Fred attends a Journey concert. On the gaming front it's all Mass Effect for Trees as he wraps up the second game and goes right into the third. Fred also played Mass Effect 2 but found time to dig into the first third of Tunic, try (and discard) Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories, and deal with a broken Genesis controller port just to play the terrible Incredible Hulk game.
This week starts out with pop culture and lifestyle before moving into one big game. Hope you like Mass Effect 2 because the hosts of this show are hooked. Warning: Mild spoilers from 1:05:00 through most of the rest of the show. In addition Fred has been killing a handful of minutes daily with the early access run-based title that heavily borrows from Castlevania called Vampire Savior.
