As the boys wind down for the holiday they chat about life before delving into gaming. Trees is co-habitating with his son in Animal Crossing and continues to be so enthralled with PSVR that he’s ready to ship his to Fred. Fred’s had it with GTA IV, replaying Bloodrayne in the new “Terminal Cut”, and slowly working his way through Gears 5.
This week Trees assists Fred in being a more assertive shopper, the guys talk their history with Dunkin Donuts, and the lengths we go for Christmas decorations. After a thoughtful listener mail, video games entails Trees dealing with his young son starting to play with menus in Animal Crossing and another love fest over VR. Fred has been going back to GTA IV and Titanfall 2 while his wife and child are hooked to Tetris Effect Connected.
This week it’s all about unusually warm weather, gearing up for the holidays, and oh yeah those new consoles came out. Fred and Trees don’t discuss the intricacies of what they do, but rather the fun times to be had trying to get one. Trees has been working his way through Far Cry Primal while Fred tested out his Series X with GTA IV, Tetris Effect Connected, and Gears 5.
This week Fred and Trees swap Halloween stories before delving into a bevy of random games. Trees decides to test the waters of PC and tries a new streaming service while Fred goes largely retro with a dash of inFamous: Festival of Blood.
This week VGP is all over the place talking about everything from retro accessories to the people of Wal-Mart. Trees continues to play Far Cry Primal and he gives Trine 4 a go. Once they finally get down to games Trees gave a shot to Metal Wolf Chaos XD, went deeper into Genshin Impact, and returned to Jurassic World Evolution. Fred on the other hand is keeping with horror as he struggles through The Evil Within 2, realizes some retro classics don’t hold up with The 7th Guest, and finds surprising fun with Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut. It all wraps with a much appreciated listener mail.

Fred is going mostly horror but manages to wrap Jak and Daxter before delving into the headache of the end of Resident Evil: Code Veronica, giving Condemned 2: Bloodshot a second chance after more than a decade, and big dumb fun with House of the Dead III.
