VideoDestruct Podcast

This week on the podcast we plunge deep into the halls of Rapture and cover the first Bioshock installment. Irrational Games sought to recapture their lost System Shock property and ended up with a whole new classic that still holds up the test of gameplay and graphics to this day.

We also discuss:

* Madden

* 30 vs 60 frames

* Playstation Slim leak

* Obduction (from Mist guys)

* Toe jamm and earl

* No Man Sky

This week we talk about Blizzards output on the Super Nintendo mainly focusing on the three big games of that era, Rock N’ Roll Racing, Blackthorne and The Lost Vikings.

We also Discuss:

* Stanger Things

* Suicide Squad

* BoxBox Boy

This week we talk about Starfox for the SNES and it’s significance for the time of it’s release. Is it a glorified tech demo or does it hold up today as a classic? Also we don’t say the word Barrel Roll ONE TIME. Unintentionally. So there.

We also discuss:

* No Man’s Sky

* Final Fantasy 15 Delay?

This week Brandon, Hoss and Gus talk about what we’ve been playing recently and then we get into the Rockstar classic Red Dead Redemption as it is now backwards compatible on the Xbox One!

It’s a news centric episode this week on VideoDestruct Podcast and we talk about all the leaked info for the Nintendo NX and much more. Gus has returned after more than a year to chit-chat as well!

This week Hoss and Brandon sit down and have a big long conversation about Pokemon. The originals! Red and Blue and we even throw in a little Yellow as well. It's a pretty heavy catch-em-all episode so have a listen!

This week it’s our E3 2016 recap! It’s a little less expansive than our previous E3 episodes and we just cover the big announcements and things that get us riled up! Eric is back this episode to talk about how he didn’t watch any of it. So that’s great.

We also talk about

* Overwatch

* Dead by Daylight

Did we get VD from this 69? NO! It’s just the 9th episode of the VD Podcast!  Otogi 2 is an obscure original Xbox title from From Software (nope not a typo) and it’s pretty great. With hack and slash attacks and destructible environment arenas this old school sequel puts all the fun into Japanese lore.

We also discuss:

* Two new Xbox’s?

* Retro City Rampage

* Bakuman

* Alienware Steam Machine

* Cibele

Eric is back on the show and instead of doing an old game segment we just talk about what we’ve been playing recently and Eric goes on a massive rant on The Division.

We discuss:

* Battlefield 1

* Xbox Backwards Compatibility

* Disney Infinity Closes

* Shantae and the Pirate’s Curst

* The Division

* Doom

* Uncharted 4

Max Payne 1 and 2 was one of the first action shooters that really gave a new light in control to the player but it also stepped up the aspect of gritty story telling, something Remedy Entertainment still strives to accomplish with recent works like Quantum Break.

We also discuss:

* New Call of Duty Trailer

* Ratchet and Clank Movie/Game

* Nintendo NX Date

* Alien Isolation
