The past two weeks I was fairly busy, I spent the week at my family's property, and took the opportunity to take the Loyale through its paces, even though I had to drive it about 350 miles home at the end of the week.

When I got home, I put up the Christmas lights, learned a bit about the Volvo, prepped the Outback for inspection (next week!) and got the winter tires on the crown vic.

In the future I'll be uploading weekly. I initially thought that every other week would be more viable, but the size of a single project gets rather large, and I think I'd prefer multiple smaller projects, even if some weeks I don't do much, or have to edit while away from home.

I was asked to digitize this cassette tape before I was uploading weekly videos, but I've left it up because it's a really cool piece of history. Hugh Kalich is my Great Grandpa. He was a politician and friend to many. My favorite fun fact about him is that trying to legalize prostitution essentially ended his political career, what a legend.

I recently rediscovered this short snippet on my hard drive, but only as an mp3 in low quality. It dates back to 2020 when I tried Cakewalk but couldn't get along with this DAW. Some very strange things were happening to my tracks in it and neither I found a solution for it nor other users facing the same issue. However I had some fun creating a few patterns purely with software on a laptop. I've called this "Wartemusik 1", because it absolutely felt to me like there's only a voice missing at the end: "Please hold the line"
