Well yes. Leaving early in the morning under an overcast sky, the journey south took a little over 3 hours, and then a further half hour up to the place where camp was finally pitched: The plan had been to use the mountain bothy, but at 22:00 after all the day-trippers had departed, it was discovered that the edifice was absolutely crawling with spiders (they hadn’t been visible in the early afternoon), so the hammock was hung-up outside under the tarpaulin, and for 12 hours there was no-one in the vicinity. The return home the following afternoon proved more challenging, as the heat, wind, and lack of any shade in the last half of the ride, took their toll.
Pues si. Saliendo en la madrugada bajo cielos nublados, el viaje duró un poco más de 3 horas, y después media hora más para llegar al sitio del campamento. El plan había sido que se usaría el refugio en las montañas, pero a las 22:00, después de que se había ido el último excursionista, se descubrió que el edificio estaba lleno de arañas (no estuvieron visibles a las 14:00), entonces se colgó la hamaca afuera bajo la lona, y por 12 horas no había nadie cerca. La vuelta a casa probaba más desafiante el día siguiente por la tarde, ya que el calor, el viento y la falta de sombra en la última mitad del recorrido pasaron factura.
