On a technical university in Russia students asked the invited soldiers and female military activist about cases of homosexual rape in Russian army. Russian leaders in general have an interesting attitude towards homosexuality - on one hand they treat voluntary gay relations with contempt as "non-traditional", but routinely use phrases such as "to bend someone over" (поставить раком) as a threat with clear homosexual rape context, so with with a clear background in prison culture.
