There are those out there on the internet who say that legendary director Steven Spielberg, despite his unassailable genius, has a propensity to stumble at the finish line, favoring "happy" endings over "good" ones. Clay and Darren dig into four of them, 1960's PURPLE NOON, 1977's THE AMERICAN FRIEND, 1999's THE TALENTED MR. RIPLEY and 2002's RIPLEY'S GAME.
