Dr Randy Kennedy is a long time pastor and minister and much in demand speaker. He also spent many years as the chaplain for pro athletic teams and a senior golf tour. God has used his unique vantage point of the lives of pro athletes to not only relate to them but also to positively impact many others. But long before he was in ministry, Randy was a drummer for a rock n roll band. The band ended up on the Dick Clark Happening 68 national TV show. The most requested song for him as a drummer in those days was the very familiar "Wipe Out." He still plays that song on the drums today... and remembers. But many years ago, Randy experienced a real wipeout in the ministry. If not for the unconditional love of the pro athletes with the Atlanta Hawks, Randy may have given up on ministry forever. In saving Randy's ministry, the athletes saved the lives of multitude of others Randy has impacted along the way. This is a powerful story of a gifted servant - but more importantly it is a story of grace and restoration.
