Principle 4: Openly examine and confess my faults to
myself, to God, and to someone I trust.
“Happy are the pure in heart.” (Matthew 5:8)
Step 5: We admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another
human being the exact nature of our wrongs.
“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for
each other so that you may be healed.” (James 5:16)
This week we are going to focus on confessing (admitting) our
sins, all the dark secrets of our past, to another person.
Why do I have to admit my wrongs to another person?
We lose our sense of .We will begin to lose our unwillingness to.
We will lose our inflated, false .We will lose our sense of .We gain that the Bible promises. We gain .“They cried to the Lord in their troubles, and He
rescued them! He led them from the darkness and the shadow of death
and snapped their chains.” (Psalm 107:13-14)
We gain .Choose someone of the same sex as you whom you trustand respect.
