Carrollsburg (historical), United States. The Agency for Global Media, which oversees the Voice of America, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Radio Free Asia, the office of Cuba Broadcasting (Radio y TV Marti), Middle East Broadcasting Networks, and other official US Government broadcasting entities, has its headquarters in the Wilbur J. Cohen Federal Building (the former Social Security Administration Building), at 330 Independnce Avenue Southwest in Washington DC. It is next to the national Mall, and across from the National Museum of the American Indian. The agency has been there, under various names, since 1954, and is the main tenant in the building. The agency employs more than 3,000 people, and was referred to as the Broadcasting Board of Governors until 2019, when it was restructured under the Trump Administration.
