Vik the Random

Note: I meant pages, not words (during the random fact)

Note: Redwoods are 30 feet in circumference not wide (30 feet wide would have been ridiculous)

In this episode, we're beginning a large part series to explain the wonders of our world! We'll talk about the classifications of all our ecosystems, and populations, and biomes (hint, MineCraft)! We'll even discover one of the ecosystems very dear to my heart. We'll get to other ecosystems as well! And yes, today's not Earth Day, but that doesn't mean we don't celebrate and learn about our earth!

NOTE: The intermission music sounds very similar to the music in a game named Theme Park Tycoon 2 (on Roblox) which I used to play. I just happened to stumble across a live loop that sounded just like it and thought - hey, why not!

2:27 is the timestamp with the time for all the definitions!

Hello Everyone and Welcome to Vik the Random! Are you ready for a banger?

In this episode we talk about LION, which isn't an actual lion, but rather Lithium-ion. We'll talk about what it is, and how exactly it works. From the second part of the name EV, you can probably guess that it has something to do with Electric Vehicles. Let's Go!

Also - Huge Shoutout to Many Candle a non-profit started by my classmate where all candles go directly to help pets in the SVPP! (Silicon Valley Pet Project)

Thank you to my dad and my science teacher who helped me with my facts and script! This was a very complicated topic for me too! Tell me how I did in explaining it! Email me at [email protected] (Don't worry - it's just a hide my email)

This is the first in a series of slightly more intense, halloween themed episode. Don't worry - no horrible descriptions! In this episode we talk about what is wasted when you are buried (hint - golden gate), and how we can reduce that waste - primarily through the different ways we are buried.

Also - sorry for the kind of bad audio quality - I changed a setting on my microphone that I need to figure out how to reverse.

Also - please note - I don't mean any offense with my "slight" bias.

In this episode, we talk about how you get 3 day delivery from amazon. This involves robots, conveyor belts, an app, and a lot more stuff which I will try my best to explain in 12 minutes! So get ready, get set, and get listening!

Phew! This podcast contains a lot of information, so be sure to remember stuff from earlier on in the podcast, to later on. And, don't worry if it wizzed past you. Feel free to listen to it slowly. There's also a recap at the end.

Note: I won't be producing an episode next week (or the week after) because of an overnight field trip. However, on the week after that, my schedule will return to normal.

In this episode, we talk about the part of the water cycle that is missing in many diagrams, cycles, and more, and thats -- how the water gets to YOU! This involves a long line of purification and filtration. We also talk about filters and the cycle inside of a cycle.

Thank you to James Jones - this episode is dedicated to him

Here's the link to the image of the diagrams and cycles! You can print it out too!

Yay! We're on double digits! This episode is here to broadcast how washing your hands can be detrimental to your long term health. Take a look at the ingredients of your soap to figure out why! We talk about what some chemicals do, and why they are allowed. And, as we always do, we talk about the wider impact, and what we can do about it.

In this episode, we'll be delivering a wirecutter-like review on whether you should be subscribed to Kindle Unlimited, or Nintendo Switch Online with the expansion pack. We'll go over all the details, cover all the details, and fit you into a category on why you should, or shouldn't buy it. I was inspired by this when one of my friends had the Nintendo Online, and I didn't, so I did some research on what I was missing out. In this episode, I also go really deep onto only these two subscriptions and explaining them - even though when I look at my script, it doesn't look like a lot. So... Hop right in, and Enjoy!
