School Resource Officer (SRO) Phil Taylor graduated in 1985 from North Canton's Hoover High School. He became a police officer in 2000 and has served the City of North Canton for 14 years. He has been an SRO for four years. He is certified as an ALICE instructor and a Crime Prevention Officer. He has undergone training in School Based Threat, Risk, and Vulnerability Assessment, along with numerous other related trainings. Officer Taylor discusses the role of the SRO in keeping the students of the North Canton City School District safe. Tim Walker, our former athletic director, has become the Director of Development and Special Projects for North Canton City Schools. As athletic director, Tim took on the job of updating our athletic facilities to provide equal access to all students and guests and obtaining donations that will make this work possible. With some projects completed, Tim has now focused on renovating the 75-year-old Memorial Stadium in conjunction with the Legacy Campaign.
