McCarthy to Giants, Evaluate Kyler Murray, and Critique O’Connell’s Adjustments — Tyler Forness and producer Dave discuss reports that Justin Jefferson’s MRI “looked good” and he could play this weekend, then react to the Vikings trading J.J. McCarthy to the Giants for an unconditional fifth-round pick, interpreting the low return as a sign the league knew Minnesota was done with him amid multiple reports of an inconsistent process and off-field concerns. They note McCarthy will likely back up Jameis Winston initially and call him one of the Vikings’ biggest busts, while suggesting the new pick could be used in a trade to bolster the roster, especially with TE Josh Oliver out months and running back depth concerns.
