Tyler Forness is a recurring source of news, as he reports on a range of topics, including the full details of the Za'Darius Smith trade, the projected 53-man roster, and the opening betting odds for all 17 of the Vikings' games. Dave also mentions Kevin Fielder, who noticed that the Vikings replaced Dalvin Cook with Alexander Mattison on their Twitter banner, possibly indicating that Cook's time with the team is coming to an end.

Dave also talks about the Vikings signing two Minnesotans after the rookie minicamp: Duluth fullback Zach Ojile and Minnesota offensive lineman Sam Schluter.
