Welcome back to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings fell to the Detroit Lions 19-15 at Ford Field on Sunday afternoon. Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray finished the game 17-of-29 passing for 210 yards, two touchdowns, and an INT. Kyler also led the team with 35 yards rushing in the game. Wide receiver Jordan Addison led the Vikings receiving corps with 3 receptions for 66 yards and a 2-point conversion reception, while both tight end T.J. Hockenson and wide receiver Justin Jefferson caught Murray's two touchdown passes. Kicker Will Reichard missed his lone field goal attempt but converted his sole extra point attempt on the day. Welcome back to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings defeated the Indianapolis Colts 16-10 on Sunday afternoon at U.S. Bank Stadium. A couple of milestones were reached for the Vikings in the game. Kicker Will Reichard completed his 36th straight field goal and broke Gary Anderson’s previous streak of 35 straight in 1998.  Safety Harrison Smith also recorded his 40th Interception of his career, tying him with Ed Sharockman for 3rd all-time in Vikings history.  As for the Vikings offense, quarterback Kyler Murray finished with 150 yards passing and threw a TD to tight end T.J. Hockenson in the 4th quarter.  Murray also added 39 yards on the ground.  Running back Jordan Mason led the rushing attack for Minnesota with 68 yards on 15 carries. Wide receiver Justin Jefferson led the receiving corps with 4 receptions for 44 yards. Place kicker Will Reichard finished the day 3-for-4 on field goals and converted his only extra point attempt in the contest. Welcome back to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings defeated the New Orleans Saints 23-13 on Sunday afternoon down at Caesars Superdome. The Vikings offense racked up 364 yards of total offense in the game, while the defense only allowed 142 yards for the Saints. Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray had 229 yards in the air and a passing touchdown while also adding 51 yards on the ground. Running back Aaron Jones Sr. answered the bell with 25 carries for 113 yards and a rushing touchdown after bulldogging his way to the endzone deep in the 4th quarter. Hometown kid Justin Jefferson led the receiving corps with six receptions for seventy-nine yards, and a sweet triple coverage touchdown grab in the third quarter. Place kicker Will Reichard was once again perfect on the day, kicking three field goals (40, 54, 55) and two extra points. Defensively, the guys made it rough on Saints quarterback Tyler Shough all day. The Minnesota Vikings defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-16 on Sunday afternoon at Raymond James Stadium.  The Vikings jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter and ran out the lead wire-to-wire in the game. The team sacked Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield six times, including: 1.5 sacks by linebackers Kyle Van Noy and Eric Wilson, 1 sack by linebacker Blake Cashman and safety Josh Metellus, and outside linebacker Dallas Turner, linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel, and linebacker Ivan Pace Jr. all had half-a-sack in the game. The conditions were tough all day, but the Vikings stepped up in all phases of the game. Welcome back to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings defeated the Green Bay Packers 39-22 on Sunday afternoon.  Quarterback Kyler Murray opened the game for the Vikings but suffered an injury in the 1st quarter and quarterback Carson Wentz stepped in for the rest of the contest. The Vikings found themselves down 22-10 into the 3rd quarter, but that is when they went to work. The Vikings scored the final 29 points of the game, including rushing touchdowns by running backs Jordan Mason and Aaron Jones Sr. and receiving touchdowns by TE T.J. Hockenson and WR Justin Jefferson. Carson finished the game 12-of-19 for 133 yards passing and 3 touchdowns. Running back Jordan Mason led the team with 59 yards on the ground, including his 1 yd TD rush after a fumble recovery by LB Andrew Van Ginkel.  Wide receiver Justin Jefferson led the team with 8 receptions for 92 yards and 2 touchdowns on the day.  Justin tied wide receiver Randy Moss for #2 all time in receptions by a Viking receiver with 587 in his career. Kicker Will Reichard was perfect on the day with 1 field goal and 4 extra points converted. Defensively, the squad buckled down in the second half and forced some critical turnovers and stops that got the ball back to the offense which led to points.  The team notched 4 sacks on the day, including DL Levi Drake Rodriguez, Edge Dallas Turner, .5 sack by LB Blake Cashman, and 1.5 sacks by LB Andrew Van Ginkel which included his forced fumble.
