We can't get right with God by fixing externals. Instead all we can do is throw ourselves on God's mercy, But when we do this God is amazingly generous, not only meeting our basic needs, but providing extravagantly for our benefit.
Join us as Alex Hitchcock opens up Matthew 15 for us today.
As we come to chapter 23, and the last days, Chris Watkin starts with the framework of 'Giving to to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's', and demonstrating that giving to Caesar is a subset of Giving to God. From this he shows that we can give to culture what is cultures.
He says Christians should be unusually open because they are unusually closed, and their cultural critique should be characterised by a love that can take many forms.
