Village Church of Bartlett: Sermons

“The 5-6” is a place for Village Church to equip 5th and 6th graders with the knowledge, awareness, and skills they need to follow Jesus as preteens. This week we talk about how Jesus brings fruit from our lives. In John 15, Jesus talks with his disciples about abiding in the vine. When we're connected to Jesus, he grows fruit.

Coming off of a series on healthy church, we take a look at how men can "trend healthy" at Village. Healthy discipleship is more about the direction we head in than the destination we arrive at. This is a practical teaching on how to set the best direction for yourself as a man at Village Church.

This week we discuss what it looks like for the kids to know and experience that Jesus loves them. In John 14, Jesus talks to his disciples about the path that he is leading them and where it will take them. Jesus leads us into life with God, and God actually wants to be with us!
