We have spent the last few weeks talking about brokenness, both in the world around us and in our personal lives. During today’s Easter message, we are reminded that brokenness does not have the final say. The resurrection of Jesus set in motion a new hope and a new reality. One that takes our brokenness and transforms us into new creations.

Brokenness is all around us. The evidence is everywhere, yet we can be at a loss at what to do about it. For some, it can become overwhelming to the point of hopelessness. In this message we look at a simple metaphor that Jesus used to illustrate the brokenness and what he offered as a solution. How we respond to Jesus will shape the way we see the world around us, and also heal the brokenness inside us.

There are moments when we’ve fallen and it’s difficult to get back up. We can feel hopeless in moving forward and convince ourselves that it’s never going to get better. We can become so overwhelmed by our brokenness that we can even feel that life is no longer worth the effort. In this message we look intimately into the life of David, a man who experienced a serious fall, but also learned what it takes to get back up.
