As God’s children we have an identity. As such, we are called to a certain kind of life. But over time we tend to forget who we are in Christ and we start making up our own answers and redefining the purpose of our life in Christ according to our thinking or our culture. What is your identity in Christ? How does your identity affect what you do?

This life is like a battlefield. We are in a battle for purity in the midst of a wicked and perverse world. And rather than readying our minds for that battle, Christians often turn their minds and hearts against one another. Peter reminds us that we need each other, so we should love one another.
